From 10–12 July 2025, a study visit took place in Zorneding, Germany, involving representatives of the FAMILY project partners: EDU Research Polska Sp. z o.o., Feel Bear Sp. z o.o., and Fundacja Popieram Rodzinę. The meeting was hosted by the transnational partner IFN.
The purpose of the visit was to deepen knowledge and exchange experiences in working with families with a history of forced migration, with particular emphasis on systemic, integrated, and trauma-informed support models applied in social service practice.
The visit was part of the project’s research and development process, supporting the design of the FAMILY program model. Insights gained were used to reflect on the structure of program components, the role of the pilot, the flexibility of support pathways, and the conditions for effective implementation of the model in various institutional contexts.
This visit significantly strengthened transnational cooperation among the project partners, fostering joint learning, the exchange of perspectives, and the development of a shared interdisciplinary language, which provides substantial added value for the further development and future replication of the FAMILY program.
From 24–26 September 2025, a study visit took place in Warsaw, Poland, involving representatives of the FAMILY project partners: EDU Research Polska Sp. z o.o., Feelbear Sp. z o.o., Fundacja Popieram Rodzinę, and IFN Internationales Privatinstitut für Forschung und Netzwerkarbeit in Bildung, Beratung und Management in soziokulturellen Bereichen GmbH.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences and explore practical approaches to implementing integrated support programmes for families with a history of forced migration within the Polish context. Particular attention was given to the organisation of pilot activities, participant engagement strategies, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and the adaptation of support services to local needs and conditions.
The visit formed part of the project’s ongoing development and validation process, supporting the refinement of the FAMILY programme model. Through expert discussions and working sessions, partners identified good practices, analysed implementation challenges, and developed recommendations for the further improvement of programme components, including family, group, and individual support activities.
The study visit further strengthened transnational cooperation among the project partners, enabling the exchange of knowledge and practical experience between Poland and Germany. The conclusions and recommendations developed during the meeting will contribute to the continued implementation, adaptation, and future transferability of the FAMILY programme model.
